Dear Sir

I need your advice in a personal matter. I and a girl are in love with each other for past few months and want to get married. I am a hindu and girl is a buddhist. I believe, there is a ritual in buddhist marriages where the names are put in a chit and then if chits come out properly, the couple can marry. But this didn't happen in my case.

We both are terribly in love with each other and can not stay apart. Please let us know if there is any work around. As per Vedic matchmaking, things are fine. Please advice.

Udumbara flower from the picture:
According to Buddhist sutras, "Udumbara" is a Sanskrit word, meaning "an auspicious flower from heaven." Volume 8 of the Huilin Phonetics and Interpretation, a Buddhist scripture, says: "Udumbara is the product of ominous and supernatural phenomena; it is a celestial flower and does not exist in the mundane world. If a Tathagata or King of the Golden Wheel appears in the human world, this flower will manifest due to their great virtue and blessings."
